Steps to Apply online


Step 1 – Go to http://dgft.gov.in and Click on "IEC Online Application" option. You will be prompted to enter your PAN . To Create a new IEC Application , select "Create" option from the "File" menu. System will generate and display new "ECOM Reference No." Fill in your details like -address including city , state, pincode , phone/fax , email, Date of Establishment, PAN date, PAN Issuing authority, Banker Name, Bank Account Number , Name and Designation of Person


Step 2 – Make a Payment through online fund transfer from selected banks


Step 3 – Upload the documents based on your company formation (Number of documents depends on whether your company is sole proprietor, partnership, or registered) PAN Card , Photograph and Bank Certificate is mandatory for all the applicants.

2. Partnership firm

1. Digital Photograph (3x3cms) of the Managing Partner.
2. Copy of PAN card of the applicant entity.
3. Copy of Passport (first & last page)/Voter's I-Card /UID (Aadhar Card) /Driving Licence/PAN (any one of these) of the Managing Partner signing the application.
4. Copy of Partnership Deed.
5. Sale deed in case business premise is self-owned; or Rental/Lease Agreement, in case office is rented/ leased; or latest electricity /telephone bill.

3. LLP firm / Government Undertaking / Public Limited Company / Private Limited Company / Section 25 Company

1. Digital Photograph (3x3cms) of the Designated Partner/Director of the Company signing the application.
2. Copy of PAN card of the applicant entity.
3. Copy of Passport (first & last page)/Voter's I-Card /UID (Aadhar Card) /Driving Licence/ PAN (any one of these) of the Managing Partner/Director signing the application.
4. Certificate of incorporation as issued by the RoC
